About this Event
This is an Invitation
To spend a day in deep somatic exploration with a small and intentional group committed to honest connection.
To move past the “idea” of wellness into the actual medicine our collective body and souls require.
Why might I want to join
Free Up - unstick the places that feel stuck. Be somatically prepared to have the hard conversations, stop the things that don’t align and spark the creativity once more.
Forgive - be held in exploring the things that happened to you that you didn’t have a choice over but that still run a powerful thread through your life.
Mature - be held to face the consequences of your own life choices so you can support yourself now and move forward.
Be seen, Be heard - and see how that changes the way you relate to others.
Let Go - Release physical tension, the holding and the grip that you think protects you but actually keeps you separate.
Connect - remember how to honestly, compassionately, and courageously connect with yourself and those around you.
Be Community - be part of a groundswell of commitment to community and doing this work together.
"This is pokey work. This is more than just another workshop.
Way more, way more than that, it is a different league of work that a workshop junkie would attend. So if you're a workshop junkie, that's great, but if you really want to meet the work, start here. Don't waste your time, your precious money, and your precious energy chasing, chasing, the idea of healing. Just cut to the chase. This is where to go."
Rachel, attendee.
How do I know if it’s for me
If you are…
In tiredness - If you are tired of pretending and are longing to reconnect with who you are outside of your work identity, your family dynamic and your expectations of yourself.
In serious mode - If you feel fully committed to laying down the heaviness of what you have been carrying and are ready to stop chasing the idea of healing and actually get stuck in.
In a period of change - If you feel a deep desire to shift some difficult life patterns and dynamics and to feel more self supported through the particular portal you are in.
In loneliness - but yearning for community and connection. If you value being part of a small, intimate group where you can witness and be supported by the growth and essence of others. You are welcome
- Wherever you are in your journey, you are welcome.
"I have experienced (one to one) somatic therapy before and was surprised how quickly my body responded to a group process" - Anon, attendee.
What does it look like/feel like?
We create a small intimate container of eight people—six participants and two therapists.
There is an arc to the day, we start slow and there are breaks for refreshments and space to process (a warm vegan, GF lunch and tea and snacks are provided).
We weave body and breathwork and a supportive energetic frequency along with sound and sacred ritual.
There are intuitive aspects, a circle to share in and we work in a deeply trauma informed way.
Within the container, you will each embark on your own journey while being held with compassion and presence.
This carefully held space is supported by practitioners with over 30 years’ collective experience in somatic therapy, mental health, and personal transformation work.
"And thank f*!? there are people like Karen and Cat that can hold this really delicate work, and do hold it, and choose to, and love to - and that they are willing to meet their calling is such a gift to the community around them. - Rachel, attendee.
Why it matters
We gather so we can experience true aliveness.
We gather so we can show up more fully—truer, braver, and more compassionate in who we are and how we live.
We learn to inhabit our wholeness, to meet fully the light and dark within so that we may meet the complexity of the world with our whole selves.
We gather so we can bring all of this to our communities for a better world.
"The workshop was just fabulous and the energy from entering the building was welcoming and pure. Karen and Cat were so inclusive and made me feel welcome instantly connecting to them and the participants." - Lisa, attendee - London.
Wherever you are in your process, you are welcome.
