Avenue Q is a Sesame Street-inspired coming-of-age tale full of charming characters, upbeat music, biting humor, prolific swearing, and a relatable depiction of mediocre adult life. This musical combines cheerful melodies and felt-faced protagonists with adult subject matter, creating a hilarious juxtaposition. It dives into mature topics and straddles the line between obscene and sincere in a way that proves how even puppets can capture what it means to be human.
Parental guidance strongly advised. Mature content warning including explicit language and full puppet nudity.
Director: Eric Boucher
