Usually at an open mic, people share songs and poems. We do that. And, we share as Spirit moves us. Our stage has been graced with:
instrumental music
visual art and photos of every manner
memoirs and fiction
part of a TED talk
reflections on crochet, with a demonstration
stories (some illustrated!) about:
building a cabin
parting with treasured possessions
an Antarctica travelogue
a meeting of “strangers” on a trail
decades of activism, and
a romantic meet-cute with supporting exhibits
spiritual teachings and practices that have changed people’s lives
Next open mics are pencilled in on 2/6/2027 and 5/22/2027–dates to be confirmed closer to the events.
