About this Event
Join me on 11th October, 11am–1pm, for an autumn foraging walk through St James Cathedral Gardens.
You’ll learn how to identify the medicinal plants growing around us and discover how to use them for medicinal purposes and their many health benefits.
We’ll explore:
🍂 Traditional herbal uses
🍂 Folklore and historical uses
🍂 What modern research tells us 🍂 Practical ways to use the plants safely
A chance to slow down, connect with nature and see the familiar plants around us in a whole new way.
This event is led by myself, Hayley Rigby - a qualified Medical Herbalist who has guided over a hundred people on foraging walks. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with the plants growing all around us, and I can’t wait to share the magic of autumn foraging with you.
The walk will take place rain or shine so make sure you're dressed comfortable for the weather and bring a cup along for herbal tea 🍵
Children come along for free.
Please see the photo attached of the meeting location. If you are driving, the cathedral has a car park which is right by our meeting place.
