Peter Brock - He designed cars that won. Then raced them to prove why.
Peter Brock is an acclaimed American automotive designer, engineer, author, and historian best known for his work in high-performance sports car design and motorsports. At just 19 years old, he joined General Motors, where he contributed to the design of the iconic Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray. Brock later became a key member of Carroll Shelby’s team, helping develop the legendary Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, which played a pivotal role in securing the 1965 FIA World Manufacturers Championship for GT cars. He also founded Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE), where he led successful racing programs for Datsun in the United States. Today, Peter Brock is celebrated as one of the most influential figures in automotive design and racing history, with a career spanning more than six decades of innovation, competition, and automotive preservation.
