Join us for an exciting evening with Gordon Noble, Professor of Archaeology at the University of Aberdeen, specialising in Prehistory and early medieval Europe. He has undertaken award-winning landscape research and field projects working on projects from the Mesolithic to Medieval periods.
Professor Noble is the editor of Rhynie, A Powerful Place of Pictland (2026), which presents the results of three major excavations in the Upper Strathbogie Valley in Aberdeenshire. Come along to this fascinating talk about about power, settlement and material culture in the Late Roman Age and early medieval northern Britain!
The event will consist of a talk by Professor Noble with subsequent Q&A and a chance to have your book signed. Please note this is a ticketed event.
