Audra McDonald
with Andy Einhorn
Broadway legend Audra McDonald returns to the Library to partner with leading music director and conductor Andy Einhorn for an intimate preview recital of their latest collaboration. Among McDonald’s many accolades are two Grammy Awards, and Emmy Award, and a record-breaking six Tony Awards; her partnership with Einhorn has led to collaborations with many of the world’s most prestigious orchestras and yielded two acclaimed albums (Sing Happy: Live with the New York Philharmonic and Go Back Home). Einhorn was music director of the Library’s 2026 celebration of Burt Bacharach. The evening will include works by Stephen Sondheim in celebration of the Music Division’s recent acquisition of Sondheim’s papers.
