Thirty years ago, a small group of women dared to imagine that leadership in theological education could look different, and that no woman called to this work should have to find her way alone. The ATS Women in Leadership (WIL) Initiative grew from that conviction. Through good times and bad, WIL has flourished because of women like you, who said yes to walking alongside others as mentors, companions, and truth-tellers.As we mark the 30th anniversary of the initiative, we invite women leaders who aspire to grow in their leadership capacities in the Church or the academy, to gather for an intergenerational gathering to reflect on the theme, The Good, the Bad, and the Glorious of Women's Leadership.
We welcome the diverse and intergenerational community of women leaders in ATS schools who have gathered throughout the course of 30 years, and those who wish to join this community for the first time, to gather, explore, assess, grow, and commit to becoming the best version of ourself, in service to the Church, the academy, and to one another.
