An evening of spoken word poetry and music with Dietrich Soakai and Vai Punivai. Dietrich will share poems that speak to being Pasifika in the exhibition Made in the Pacific: A Collection of Tāoga.Dietrich was a member of the South Auckland Poets Collective and is currently a member of the Fika Writers and Th’Orchard. He has been performing throughout the country and internationally since 2011. He will be accompanied by local Tongan musician Vai Punivai.
This is the closing week of the exhibition. Please do join us in celebration of this creative and historical coming together of nations and artists.
