Come home for the holidays with Chant Claire's At the River: An American Christmas, a musical journey through the rich and varied traditions of American choral music. From the beloved melodies of Shenandoah and Shall We Gather at the River to the soaring beauty of Samuel Barber's Agnus Dei, adapted from his iconic Adagio for Strings, this program brings together stirring spirituals, Appalachian carols, early American hymns, and treasured Christmas favorites. Join us for a concert that celebrates the voices, traditions, and musical heritage of America, all wrapped in the warmth of the holiday season.
