Come and join us for an unforgettable night under the stars!Our stargazing event is an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the night sky and learn about the wonders of the universe. This event is suitable for all experience levels, whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or just curious about the cosmos. On the night of the event, we will gather at the reserve to take in the stunning views of the night sky through telescopes, binoculars and the naked eye. Our knowledgeable guides from Peterborough Astronomical Society will point out interesting celestial objects and answer any questions you may have. There will also be presentations inside the visitor centre, which will be serving simple hot drinks.
While stargazing is the highlight of these events, our great British weather may let us down. A decision to run or not will be made 48 hours before, and all booked participants notified. In the event of intermittent bad weather we would continue the event with but with an increased focus on the indoor presentations by the Peterborough Astronomical Society team.
