Join us for a fun and interactive session about assistive technology that can help you be more independent. Discover tools and devices that make it easier to do things by yourself. Learn how to start using these technologies in your life. Whether you want to do more on your own or just learn about new options, this session will give you helpful ideas and inspiration for becoming more independent with assistive technology.

This presentation will count towards 1 CE contact hour for the Use of Technology Supports.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand what Assistive Technology actually is and how people can utilize it to participate in their lives how they choose.
• Discover examples of solutions that can help people with areas of their life that are impacted by their disability.
• Feel comfortable with the process of acquiring Assistive Technology, including how it can be paid for by the HCBS Waiver programs.
