About this Event
Assassin is a five-course tasting menu from Chef Christian Gill and The Culinary Gang, running two nights only at the iconic Johny's Luncheonette on 25th Street.
The menu draws on Asian, Creole, and Southern American diner cooking — three traditions with more in common than their menus suggest. Rice, Campo Grande Iberico pork, finessed heat, and a ripping hot griddle harmonize the trio.

Dirty rice pottage
Choice of boudin balls, red Szechuan — or shrimp remoulade, yuzu kosho
Snapper courtbouillon, green Szechuan
Choice of Campo Grande Yakamein — or Crispy rice jambalaya
Praline peach mochi cobbler
Calamansi Coconut Soda
$85 per seat. Fifteen seats per seating, three seatings each night: 6:00, 7:10, and 8:20 PM.
