Join Tony Melchiorre of AimHigHR LLC for an interactive Ask an Expert session focused on practical leadership strategies for small business owners and entrepreneurs. You’ll explore what effective leadership actually looks like and how to adapt your approach based on the people and situations in front of you.
During this session, you’ll learn how to recognize and adapt different leadership styles, communicate expectations more clearly, give feedback that actually lands, delegate ownership instead of simply assigning tasks, and build trust through consistency and follow-through. You'll also explore how to approach conflict, make decisions under pressure, and avoid common leadership pitfalls such as micromanaging, inconsistency, and avoiding difficult conversations.
This isn't about finding one "perfect" leadership style. It’s about understanding what your team needs from you and developing the habits that help people—and your business—grow. Participants will leave with a personal leadership action plan identifying one behavior to start, one to stop, and where they'll put it into practice first.
