This is a must-watch family drama that resonates deeply with the times we live in. At its heart is the tender yet complex relationship between a mother and daughter, set against the poignant backdrop of ageing.
Deepa, an independent and spirited senior citizen living alone in Pune, resists her married daughter Gauri’s suggestion of hiring a housemaid. Gauri, juggling a demanding travel-based job in Mumbai, struggles to bridge the emotional and physical distance between them. Adding warmth and lightness to their story is Deepa’s sister, Varsha, whose infectious laughter and unwavering spirit bring moments of joy amidst the tension.
Filled with heartfelt laughter and quiet tears, this power-packed performance by three remarkable women will touch your soul and leave a long-lasting memory.
