About this Event
Catherine Bertola is an artist, whose work involves creating site-specific installations, drawings and films that address the invisible histories of women, whose roles and contributions to society are overlooked and undervalued. The work gives voice to untold narratives, excavating the past to confront contemporary inequalities that women continue to face.
Artist Talks is a weekly programme spotlighting contemporary artists based in the North East and beyond. They run for roughly 1 hour, followed by a Q+A discussion lasting 30 minutes. Doors will open 5 minutes before event start time.
