About this Event
Join Unfolding Theatre at Pop Recs for a special night celebrating all things darts, starting with a live recording of the hugely-popular podcast.
Hosts Andy Dawson and Oliver Ross will present ‘(Almost) 180 Reasons to Love Darts’ - a gloriously unserious celebration of the game.
This will be followed by – a theatre show about darts, dreams and what it means to be the best. This is a rare chance to see one of Unfolding Theatre’s best loved theatre shows. First made in 2012, Best in the World is being staged as part of Unfolding Theatre's 18th birthday programme.
Best in the World
There is a world that can transport us from the ordinary to the extraordinary, where we are one perfect throw away from greatness, a place where we can all be champions.
That world is darts.
Through this noble sport, Alex Elliott asks the unfathomable question: “What does it mean to be best in the world?”
Join him on a hilarious, occasionally heroic and heart-warming journey, featuring true stories of success, live darts and celebrations of our own personal triumphs. Motivational bananas included.
Who knows? You might be the best audience in the world.
Stick around for some informal darts if you fancy stepping up to the oche yourself.
