Revolver Galería hosts Pastel Blues, a special conversation with artist Karen Navarro celebrating her forthcoming monograph, Como el Río. Moderated by Melissa Richardson Banks, the discussion explores the ideas and visual approaches that shape Navarro’s practice, including identity, fragmentation, and cultural hybridity.
Featuring artworks, installation views, and essays by renowned curators, Como el Río traces the evolution of Navarro’s career, revealing connections between her early projects and current work. Join the artist for an engaging look at her creative journey and the stories behind the art.
Guests are welcome beginning at 2 PM. The conversation and audience questions take place from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, with refreshments and viewing of the exhibiton "Field of Power: José Carlos Martinat" on view in the gallery before and afterward. The conversation will be recorded for later video and podcast distribution.
