A new shopping experience is coming to Sledmere!Home Farm Artisan Seasonal Shopping is completely free to visit.
Every Thursday to Sunday, we’ll be welcoming different independent traders to our artisan pop-up shop in Home Farm, with everything from artwork and homewares to gifts and seasonal treats. With different traders joining us each week, there’ll be plenty of reasons to pop back and see who’s here.
From Thursday 5th November, we’re welcoming a changing selection of independent artists, makers and small businesses to our new seasonal pop-up shop.
Over the next seven weeks, you’ll find everything from original artwork, handmade gifts and homewares to Yorkshire candles, alpine plants and delicious baked treats.
While you’re here, why not make the most of your visit? Pop into our Farm Shop for local produce and Christmas treats, bring the children along to enjoy our Adventure Playground and Farm Park or take a look around the new Elise Thomas photography exhibition space just next door.
Our Parkland, Gardens and Coach House Café are also open Friday to Sunday, and with three Christmas shopping areas across the Estate this year, you might just get a few more presents ticked off your list!

Bright & Beautiful - 5th-8th November
Based in North Yorkshire, Bright & Beautiful creates handmade candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and bath and body products using natural ingredients. Their range also includes soaps, bath bombs and gift sets, perfect for a little Christmas treat.
Pipse - 5th-8th November
Created by Yorkshire artist Philippa Edwardson, Pipse takes inspiration from the English countryside and Philippa’s farming background. Her colourful designs feature on original
artwork, prints, homewares, greeting cards and gifts, bringing a little bit of the countryside into your home.
Rachel’s Handmade With Love - 5th–15th November
Rachel creates handmade fabric gifts and home accessories, including embroidered shopping bags, aprons, tea towels and lavender sachets. Her collection features countryside-inspired designs alongside festive prints, with plenty of practical Christmas gift ideas.
Wicksey’s gifts and essentials - 12th-15th November
A carefully chosen range of unique gifts, homeware and personalised presents. Thoughtful gifts for every occasion, beautifully chosen.
June Raper Handmade Fabric Crafts - 19th–22nd November
June creates a selection of handmade fabric gifts, including bags, bunting and other sewn accessories. Each piece is made by hand, with practical and decorative items for the home or as gifts.
Edge of the Wolds - 19th–22nd November
Based in East Yorkshire, Edge of the Wolds creates hand-poured candles and reed diffusers inspired by the Yorkshire countryside and coast. Their collection of home fragrances includes scents such as Yorkshire Rhubarb and Yorkshire Coast, making lovely gifts or treats for your own home.

Little Bakes - 17th-20th December
Based in East Yorkshire, Little Bakes creates delicious homemade sweet treats, baked with care. Perfect for picking up something tasty for yourself or a little Christmas treat for someone else.
Whistler Tree - 17th-20th December
