ARTFUL BUZZ: THE ARTFUL PENTHOUSE TOUR: APRIVATE ART SHOWING ON SUTTON PLACE IN NYV
THURSDAY, NOV 19 @ 10AM-12PM
(NOTE: PLUS OPTIONAL DUTCH-TREAT LUNCH AFTER TOUR)
COST: $100 pp
On Thursday, November 19th, our group is invited to a private showing of contemporary art on view in a glamorous penthouse duplex in the exclusive Sutton Place neighborhood in NYC. Exact address will be sent via email upon registration.
We will see everything this waterfront residence, which is at the top of the East Side's tallest tower, has to offer as an architectural masterpiece while our guide describes the furniture and design accessories in detail. Every piece of artwork has been carefully curated and perfectly complements the decor. Best of all, every room has sweeping views of the city that are breath-taking from every angle.
Since this unoccupied brand-new luxury condominium residence is currently available for purchase, it is temporarily doubling as a spectacular art and design gallery space. We will get the opportunity of a lifetime to see first-hand this 850 feet tall building' designed by celebrated architect Thomas Juul-Hansen AND great art and design at every turn. Take photos too!
Thanks to Galerie Gabriel (www.galeriegabriel.com), the internationally renowned collective design gallery, we will see The Cultivated Eye. where the exhibition explores collecting as a form of cultural continuity, bringing an eclectic array of European and American furniture and artworks by influential 20th-century designers, and contemporary creations.
Presented in this domestic setting, the collection Galerie Gabriel reveals how exceptional design can transcend its era, to become part of everyday life through enduring craftsmanship, thoughtful use of materials, and timeless relevance.
After our tour, we are planning a beautiful lunch nearby so we can enjoy fine dining, sociaiize and talk about all the beauty we saw on our special visit.
Space is limited, so register now to join Artful Buzz for this exciting artful adventure! The event will be held on November 19th at 10am, followed by optional Dutch-treat lunch.
