This will be an acoustic “no mic, open mic” which means it will have no amps, no microphones and no electronics.
BEGINNER FRIENDLY!
We want to emphasize is that if you’re a beginner and you’ve never performed in front of anyone, this is a perfect opportunity to try it! If you’re nervous and need backup, Frank and Sylvia are providing an acoustic guitar that will be placed permanently at Earth goods. If you need someone to jump in and give you some back up, just ask. This may even turn into some impromptu jam sessions, who knows?!
The “Art” part of the Artcoustics
Take the stage in a different way with Open Canvas. We will provide acrylics, upcycled canvas for a community collaborative art piece. Plus Free watercolor paper, and brushes for you to share your creative gift. Let the music inspire a work of art. Whatever gets you groovin!
Liquid, Creative Courage! Grab a drink from the bar, sit, relax and just chill out while you listen to people play.
Carry in Food is welcome.
Earth Goods is located at 301 E. Front Street in downtown Minocqua. Regular studio offerings will be from 11-4. there will be very limited seating for regular studio options during Artcoustics to allow space for musicians.
Island City Acoustics is located at 201 Front Street
This is a free event, other than drinks of course!
