About this Event
Enjoy an afternoon of art in the city with an introduction to exhibitions and arts organisations in Temple Bar, which you can later explore at your own pace.
Meet at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios (TBG+S) where we will begin our tour. We will take a short walk to Project Arts Centre for an introduction to Plantation an exhibition by artist Rehana Zaman. We will then return to TBG+S for an introduction to artist Morgan Quaintance's exhibition I'll Always Remember… The tour will finish with a behind the scenes visit to Black Church Print Studio.
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is an artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery in Dublin City Centre. The Gallery presents five exhibitions annually of work by Irish and international artists. This is supported by a programme of free talks, tours, screenings and workshops.
Black Church Print Studio is an artists’ collective that supports and promotes the development of contemporary art practice through the medium of printmaking.
Project Arts Centre is a centre for artists, arts workers and audiences of all ages, with a programme of visual and performing arts in two theatre spaces and a gallery, including space for the development of new work.
