An Evening of Art, Music & Community at La Divina
Join us Wednesday, October 28th, from 6:00–8:00pm at La Divina Italian Cafe for a special evening celebrating two Louisiana artists, live music, wine, and the simple pleasure of gathering together around beautiful things.
Featuring Loveday Funck — The Unbelongings
Loveday Funck’s enchanting Unbelongings collection brings a gathering of curious, whimsical creatures to the walls of La Divina. These original ink drawings are strange, tender, expressive, and wonderfully individual—each inviting the viewer to pause, look a little closer, and perhaps discover a creature that speaks to them.

Featuring Michelle Elder — Illustrator
We are also delighted to welcome illustrator Michelle Elder, whose work captures scenes and impressions from Baton Rouge and beyond, inspired by her travels and the places that have caught her eye along the way. Come see her work in person and meet the artist behind the illustrations.

Meet the Artists
Both Loveday Funck and Michelle Elder will be on hand during the reception to visit with guests, share the stories and inspiration behind their work, and answer questions. Artwork from both artists will be available for purchase during the evening—a wonderful opportunity to take home something original and meaningful.
An Evening of Music & Hospitality
Enjoy live music performed by the Lagniappe Dulcimer Society, adding the beautiful and distinctive sound of dulcimers to the evening.
La Divina will also offer light hors d’oeuvres and a wine tasting for guests to enjoy while viewing the artwork, meeting the artists, and visiting with friends.
