In an era marked by environmental crises and biodiversity loss, this exhibition serves as a platform to reframe our relationship with nature and advocate for its intrinsic value. Artists are encouraged to explore questions such as: How can we give a voice to nature? What would it mean to listen to what other species need? How can we create conditions that would allow us to truly cohabitate with nature in an urban space? The participating artists reflect on these questions and aim to ignite conversations and inspire action towards recognising and respecting nature.

RE_NATURE is a festival for art and nature consisting of more than dozens works of art, exhibitions and a rich programme of activities. During RE_NATURE you will discover the work of artists and designers who challenge us to think about how we can restore the ecological imbalance. The world is at a climatological crossroads, which creates a growing awareness that action is needed in the short term. Although we are clearly the cause as humans, we can also contribute to the solution. We have creativity and innovation; now we need long-term vision and short-term action!

Treehouse NDSM is an arts incubator located in Amsterdam’s creative heart. Our goal is to foster the growth of creatives from diverse disciplines and help them bring their projects to life. We do this by offering 105 individual and affordable studios for rent, access to exhibition and performance spaces, and the opportunity to be part of a vibrant artistic community. We also offer a diverse cultural programme, which includes the monthly concert series “Live at Our Place”, jam sessions, art exhibitions, theatre plays, performances, open mics for writers, and much more.
