While Bucher has spent the last decade mastering his intense ambient guitar sound walls, Scheich in China’s uncompromising drumming propels the project into blistering post-black metal territories. Together they create a sonic monolith that is at once nerve-wracking and haunting, yet soothingly hypnotic.
