Power, oppression, and the law share a long and closely entwined history. It is no secret that the law has continuously been used as a tool for the exertion of power and oppression. As such, lawyers and the legal sector in general, have a higher responsibility to unlearn the oppressive practices of the field and actively practice anti-oppressive approaches and practices.
This training is specifically catered for those curious about learning the distinct connections between power, oppression, and the law; how to identify them; as well as how to unlearn them in theory and practice by enacting actionable solutions in their work.
