About this Event
For several years now, Western civilization suffers from a decline in social cohesion and a loss of our shared values, as well as a rise in conflict and polarization. Can we overcome this deadlock and put the nation and the common good back at the heart of politics? What role can Generation Z play amid this crisis of meaning and belonging?
On Tuesday, October 20 in Ottawa, you are invited to attend the launch of the English edition of Étienne-Alexandre Beauregard’s essay, Anti-Civilization: The Collapse of Society and the Case for the Common Good (Sutherland House, 2026), to address these major questions.
For the occasion, a panel discussion will take place between Étienne-Alexandre and Dr. Michael Bonner, former policy advisor, historian, and author of The Crisis of Liberalism. This will be an opportunity to gather over drinks to address these issues and to purchase a signed copy of the book.
