The event connects those in the data management community, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about modern analytics and AI from industry speakers, while networking with professionals and discovering local craft beer.
Each event has featured expert talks on topics like AI, data visualization, and modern analytics tools, all delivered in a relaxed, social atmosphere. Attendees have been able to sample local craft beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic kombucha, with drinks included in the ticket price. A quiet events headphone system has ensured every word from speakers and sponsors comes through clearly, even in a lively venue.
Over more than a dozen editions, Beer & Analytics grew into a beloved fixture of the Ottawa data community, with previous events being backed by sponsors including AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, Palantir, and Alteryx. Beer and Analytics brings together seasoned data professionals and newcomers alike to level up their knowledge and expand their network, one pint at a time.
