Come do your holiday "shopping" for free at our gift swap! Like a clothing swap but with artful gifts & goodies instead of clothes!About this Event
We are thrilled to host a [Re]Gift Exchange: bring unused, high-quality items that you already own—such as books, art, or housewares—to trade with others and do your "holiday shopping" instead of buying new things.
Saturday, Dec 5 from 1-4pm
3325 W Wrightwood
We will have a very optional $5 donation at the door to support Chicago Community J*il Support - plus a coat, hat and sock drive to support CCJS!
:Do bring:
- A gift you received that wasn't right for you!
- Novelty items, home decor items
- New cozy items (socks, slippers, candle, blankets)
- Art, art books, or coffee table books
- fun accessories
- Small Games & Puzzles
- Coats, hats, and warm items for our coat drive!
Don't bring:
- Broken or worn items
- Clothing (that's for a different kind of swap!)
- Food or perishables
- Your whole bag of items destined for the thrift store - at least sort through and bring us the nicest and most thoughtful items!
- More than 8 items - be selective!
**All leftovers at the end of the event will be sorted and given to mutual aid projects or donated to a local thrift store.
