“Pumpkin Festival is one of our favorite traditions,” said Simon Athearn, CEO of Morning Glory Farm. “It’s a chance to celebrate the harvest, welcome our neighbors, and showcase the incredible variety of pumpkins and squashes we grow here; more than 60 kinds in all, from tiny decorative gourds to specialty heirlooms. This day brings together the best of fall on the Vineyard.”
Morning Glory Farm has been cultivating pumpkins and squashes for decades, offering a dazzling array of more than 60 varieties each autumn. Visitors to the farmstand and fields will find everything from classic carving pumpkins to Long Island Cheese squash, Cinderella pumpkins, speckled hounds, and colorful gourds.
This year our Corn Maize is AN ACTUAL Corn Maze! We grew tall organic corn and when it was 18" tall we undersowed Sourgum, so it is a corn plant maze with some sourgum to try and obscure the view between walkways!
