🇦🇴🎉 **SPECIAL EDITION – KIZOLA OXFORD | ANGOLA INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION WITH IOLANDA RANGEL** 💃🏾🕺🏾🔥We're really excited to announce a very special November edition of Kizola Oxford! ❤️
On **Friday 6 November**, we'll be celebrating **51 years of Angolan Independence**, ahead of the official Independence Day on 11 November. 🇦🇴
And what better way to celebrate than through the music, dancing and culture that bring us all together?
🇦🇴💃🏾 **SPECIAL GUEST – IOLANDA RANGEL**
We're delighted to welcome **Iolanda Rangel**, an experienced Angolan dancer and teacher with many years of knowledge and passion for dance.
Iolanda is also a dear friend of mine whom I've known for a very long time, which makes having her join us in Oxford particularly special. ❤️
She'll be leading a workshop where we'll have the opportunity to learn from her experience, explore musicality, technique and connection, and enjoy the beautiful rhythms of Angolan dance.
Whether you're an experienced dancer or still developing your confidence, everyone is welcome!
🇦🇴🥁 **CELEBRATING ANGOLAN CULTURE**
Angola's Independence Day is an opportunity to celebrate our history, identity and rich cultural heritage.
From the joyful rhythms of Semba to the beautiful connection of Kizomba, Angolan music and dance have travelled across the world, bringing people of different nationalities and backgrounds together.
At Kizola Oxford, we're proud to share a little of that heritage with our wonderful dance community. ❤️
🎧🔥 **THE SOCIAL**
After the workshop, **DJ EdiDersio and a surprise DJ ** will take over the decks, keeping the dance floor moving with plenty of Kizomba, Semba, Tarrachinha, Ghetto Zouk and more!
Expect a strong Angolan flavour, beautiful music, great company and plenty of dancing until 12:30 AM!

Kizola Oxford has always been about more than just dancing. It's about friendship, community and sharing the culture behind the music we love.
As an Angolan, I'm especially looking forward to celebrating this occasion with you all, and having my longtime friend Iolanda joining us makes it even more meaningful.
