About the book: J.W. McCloskey is a middle aged actor with a side hustle as a "reasonably priced" (read: "low-rent") P.I. who learned everything he knows from watching '70s detective shows. He's used to peeking through keyholes and uncovering insurance fraud with his faithful beagle, Bowser. So when the search for a missing woman turns deadly, he's pulled into a roller coaster of deceit and danger worthy of a Sunday Night Movie. Can his unique set of acting skills and love of TV detectives uncover the killer?
About Andrew: Andrew Pond is a middle aged actor who loves '70s detective shows. Any resemblance between him and his creation is strictly coincidental, as he has a cat. He also has a degree in philosophy so he can use words like "epistemology" at parties. He lives in Chicago with two animals and his incredibly supportive and understanding love, Jessica, his partner in all things.
