Ready to make your watercolor skies the star of the painting? 🌤️ Join artist and instructor Alex Sharma for a fun, expressive three-week watercolor workshop focused on capturing dramatic skies, clouds, light, and atmosphere with a loose, painterly approach.
✨ What You’ll Explore:
• Loose watercolor brushwork for expressive skies
• Wet-into-wet and dry-brush techniques
• Color mixing for atmospheric skies
• Painting clouds in all their dramatic forms—from rain and wind-swept skies to glowing sunrises and sunsets
• Using your own favorite sky photo as inspiration 📸
Alex will demonstrate her techniques and guide students as they experiment with creating skies full of movement, atmosphere, and drama. Students may bring a photo from their own collection, either printed or on a phone/tablet, and Alex will also provide reference images.
