The Heart Start Walk
A free community walk for every heart, no pace to keep, no experience needed, just a community showing up for each other.
Join us on October 25, 2026 at 9:00 AM (Central Time) at Graco Park in Northeast Minneapolis for a morning built around one simple idea: walking together is good for the heart, in every sense.
The Heart Start Walk is a free, family-friendly community walk along a scenic single loop starting and ending at Graco Park, passing the Stone Arch Bridge and along the riverfront, followed by a joyful celebration at the finish.
There’s no entry fee, no pace requirement, and no experience necessary. Bring your family, friends, and the person you keep meaning to invite!
This event is part of "A Season of Heart," the 2026 American Heart Association campaign produced by WestBone Productions and presented by Leonard Searcy and Shayla Reaves.
Schedule:
9:00 AM - Check-in and arrival at Graco Park
9:15 AM - Walk begins (approx. 1.5 hours)
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Finish-line celebration at Graco Park
What to bring: comfortable shoes, water, and weather-appropriate layers for late October.
