Learn how to be healthier with insights from a physician expert in the Edgar Cayce readings!
About this Event

JOIN US ON ZOOM or in-person in San Diego to hear insights on the Cayce readings from an osteopathic physician who has applied these concepts in practice and in research for more than four decades:

  • How research has demonstrated the validity of the Cayce health readings.
  • Why Cayce so frequently recommended osteopathic adjustments—they were mentioned in almost half of all the health readings.
  • What treatments, protocols, and/or medical devices have been developed since Cayce gave his last readings, that are in line with his recommendations and theories of disease?
  • What are the themes in the Cayce readings for the causation and treatment of various common disease groups: neurological, digestive and gut health, auto-immune, cardiovascular?
  • Cayce was one of the first voices to present the concept of holistic or mind-body-spirit healing. He identified the essence of life as spirit, which manifests as vibrations in our world. Today this is called "energy healing." What advances in energy healing are proving beneficial, and how do they validate what Cayce said?
  • What should you incorporate into your own health regime from the Cayce health readings?

About the Speaker: Hollis H. King, DO, PhD is long-time board-certified osteopathic physician and clinical researcher who has served as a professor of family medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine, and after retirement from UCSD in 2023 has a private practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). Dr. King led the A.R.E. funded research on the thermography study of epilepsy based on the Edgar Cayce readings, which was published in 2017 in the journal Explore. Dr. King’s UCSD research interests include publications on Parkinson’s disease, glaucoma, and concussions, and his work in integrative medicine focused on Biofield assessment. Dr. King also supports the Foundation for Living Medicine, serving on its Board after establishing a relationship with the Dr. Bill and Gladys McGarey family and the A.R.E. Clinic the McGarey led from 1970-1990.
