Join us for a free walking tour of the birthplace of our city. From the original Army outpost on a bluff overlooking the Trinity River Fort Worth has grown to become the nation's 10th largest city. There's lots of great history to be found in the area including our majestic county courthouse, and a timely view of the Panther Island project which one day will double the size of downtown. Just make your reservations (space is limited) and come learn some fascinating facts about Fort Worth history. We start at the historic T&P Train Station on the patio next to Station & Vine (formerly T&P Tavern) at 9:00 am. The monthly tours are led by knowledgeable guides who share a love of Fort Worth history.
Free parking at meters along W Lancaster Avenue or paid parking in the lot in front of The T&P building.Transportation directly to The T&P Station from Dallas, DFW Airport and mid-city transit stations is available via Trinity Metro.
So there will be plenty of breakfast burritos & tour guides please RSVP. This tour is free to individuals and families.
