"Soft Cuts" A collage workshop exploring women's health

In conjuction with her brand new show, INHERITED BODIES being held at Creative Health Camden, Carli Adby-Notley is inviting you to be part of this fun, community led workshop, reflecting on our health experiences as women. Celebrating our bodies with movement, photography and collage.

Collaborating with graphical collage artist Louisa Tan, the event starts with an informal group visit to the exhiibtion, exploring the projects shown, all of which focus on women's health and lived experience of PMDD, POI, PCOS with tenderness and curiosity.

Questioning gender performance, identity, relationships and recognition of the skin that we are in - this is your chance to get your creative juices flowing & be present with your body. Tinking about your own health, wellbeing journey & the ways we might celebrate that, no matter what it may look like.

Then comes the chance to explore and get curious yourself, with some guided movment, photography and collage alongisde both artists, in a warm and welcoming session.

Working alone or together, you will create your very own piece of art.

Guided through various creative techniques and using a range of matierials, you will have the opportunity to connect with others and co create with hands on, accesible methods; exploring your own experiences of health, care, language, identity and all that is wrapped up in making sense of our own experiences.

These low pressure & playful art making techniques are open to everyone and you don't need to be 'creative' or have any particular skill. You just need to be open to conversation, to community and to the support and wellbeing that can come from being together, creating shared knowledge and having the space to feel seen, heard or simply to cut some paper, glue some glitter and take a moment for you and your wonderous self.
