About this Event
From ‘I’m Not Sure’ to ‘Let’s Do It’:
How Dental Assistants Drive Case Acceptance
and Patient Trust
From "I'm not sure' to Let's do it", this course will focus on the critical role assistants play in shaping patient decisions—from the first interaction through treatment completion. We’ll cover practical communication strategies, how to recognize and respond to patient hesitation, and ways to reinforce the doctor’s diagnosis without it feeling like “selling.”
The course will also incorporate real clinical cases (including surgical and interdisciplinary examples) to show how these principles play out in everyday practice and how assistants directly impact outcomes.
Objectives:
- Understand the assistant’s role in influencing case acceptance
- Learn communication techniques that build trust and confidence
- Recognize and navigate patient hesitation
- Apply these concepts through real clinical case examples
