Join us for an afternoon of music making presented by the Anchorage Brass Band under the musical direction of Ruth Hayes. The band is the only British style Brass Band in Alaska and is made up of musicians from all walks of life who volunteer their time for rehearsals and engagements to raise community spirits. We're grateful to Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Undra Parker, for hosting the concert and look forward to an afternoon of great music and fellowship.
The band will be playing compositions including Tuba solo - Nobody Loves Me Better, Moorside Suite, Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art, Shine!, Breathe, and the marches God & Country and The Pioneers.
The concert is free and open to the public. A free will offering will be taken. We hope you'll come and bring a friend!
