About this Event
Join us for a memorable evening of music, stories, and art with celebrated Canadian singer-songwriters Amy Sky and Marc Jordan, performing live with their band. Together, they have recorded more than 25 albums and 13 hit songs over the course of their remarkable careers.
The evening features music from their acclaimed album He Sang, She Sang, nominated for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year at the Juno Awards, which draws on influences from pop, soul, folk, and classic roots music. The album blends original songs with fresh interpretations of beloved classics such as “Free Fallin’” (Tom Petty), “God Only Knows” (The Beach Boys), “Ooh Baby Baby” (Smokey Robinson), “You Were Always On My Mind” (Willie Nelson), and “You” (Bonnie Raitt), alongside original songs written by the duo.
Doors open at 6:00 pm, when the general audience can find their seats and commune in the open Art Gallery featuring Marc Jordan's Flattmuzik paintings. A cash bar will offer an assortment of beverages and snacks. The concert starts at 7:30 pm. Following the show, everyone is invited to join Amy & Marc in the Art Gallery for a one-hour meet and greet, finishing up at 9:45 pm.
The concert takes place in the church’s striking Gothic Revival sanctuary, an architectural space defined by soaring arches, vaulted ceilings, and beautiful stained-glass windows. The dramatic vertical lines and historic character create a stunning setting for an intimate live performance.
Following the concert, guests are invited to stay for an artist meet-and-greet.
