About The Book
Charlotte "Charlie" Walker has spent the last four years building the dating app Flutter. Despite her own lack of dating experience (!), Flutter is instantly successful. Perhaps too successful. After rejecting the romantic advances of her cofounder, Charlie finds herself unceremoniously ousted. Dispirited, she impulsively joins her BFF on the Rally—an extravagant European road trip featuring luxury cars, lavish parties, and breathtaking destinations. Although she feels out of place, Charlie embraces her new freedom, indulging in the Rally’s hedonism. But just as she begins to regain her footing, Charlie realizes she can’t outdrive her past: Instead she must reckon with the fallout from her ouster, her company’s buried secrets, and an unexpected attraction that complicates everything.

A passionate champion of female founders, Alexandra is the co-author of the New York Times bestseller By Invitation Only: How We Built Gilt and Changed the Way Millions Shop.
Don’t hold it against Alexandra that she’s a double H—Harvard B.A. and M.B.A.—because her humility is disarming, especially when she surprises you by slipping into one of the five languages she speaks.
Forever curious, Alexandra is always exploring new tech platforms and consumer products. When she’s not evaluating the next big idea or emerging trend, this Cuban-American New Yorker is likely on the tennis court or soaking up the Miami sunshine with her husband and two children.
