About this Event
An evening of contemplative inquiry into consciousness and the nature of self with Akiva Shapiro, informed by nearly fifty years of meditation practice, including Vipassana training and time spent in Ram Dass’s household.
This gathering offers a space for direct exploration through dialogue, silence, and reflection rather than formal instruction.
Together, we will consider themes of awareness, identity, and the possibility of freedom beyond the separate self.
The evening will include a brief talk, periods of silence, and open discussion.
All are welcome.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Please bring a meditation cushion, pillow, or something comfortable to sit on.
