Join us at Books-A-Million in Columbia, SC on October 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM for a special book signing event with New York Times bestselling author Grace Byers! Celebrate the release of her inspiring new book, I Am Wonderfully Me at this can't miss bookish event.
The event will feature a storytime read-aloud with Grace, followed by a Q+A with the author. Guests will then have the opportunity to get their copies of I Am Wonderfully Me personalized and signed by Grace!
Event Information:
- Grace will personalize all copies of I Am Wonderfully Me that are purchased at the event.
- A purchase of I Am Wonderfully Me is required to join the signing line and to have Grace sign any backlist titles
- A bookseller will be available to take photos of guests with Grace

Born in Butler, Pennsylvania and raised in the Cayman Islands, actor, author and activist, Grace Byers, rose to world-wide recognition after starring in FOX’s juggernaut hit series, ‘Empire’ in 2015, garnering her an NAACP Image Award nomination. Grace has continued to do an array of tv and film projects including Marvel’s ‘The Gifted’, BET’s ‘Tales’, Bobby Moresco’s ‘Bent’ (starring Karl Urban, Sofia Vergara and Andy Garcia), and more.
She has written multiple children’s books, including the New York Times Best-Selling and 2018 Goodreads Choice Awards Picture Book winner, . In her spare time, Grace volunteers with the non-profit, anti-bullying organization, . As a CODA (Child Of Deaf Adults), Grace also enjoys volunteering with various deaf organizations to support and heighten deaf culture and awareness. She lives with her husband, Trai Byers, and their pup, Baron, in Los Angeles.
