Altofest je priekopnícky „human-specific“ projekt, ktorý nanovo premieňa vzťah medzi performatívnym umením a každodenným životom. Vznikol v Neapole v roku 2011 a koná sa v domovoch ľudí. Tento oceneniami ovenčený projekt mení každodenné priestory na miesta stretnutí a spája umenie s každodenným životom na princípoch daru a pohostinnosti.
V tejto špeciálnej edícii pre Európske hlavné mesto kultúry hostia obyvatelia a obyvateľky Trenčína vo svojich domovoch medzinárodných umelcov a umelkyne na dva týždne, od 5. do 18. októbra, a menia domáce priestory na miesta tvorby a dialógu. Od 14. do 18. októbra sa domovy otvoria publiku, ktoré prechádza z domu do domu a objavuje umenie v najnečakanejších aj najznámejších kútoch vlastného mesta.
„For One Another“ je téma, ktorá formuje dramaturgiu tejto edície a spája všetky predstavenia. Hovorí o potrebe zostať spolu ako komunita, pretože osud každého je spätý s osudom ostatných.
Pozývame vás prejsť skrytou niťou, ktorá spája diela programu, podzemnou cestou, ktorá ich zjednocuje.

Súčasťou Altofestu sú aj verejné diskusie a chvíle zdieľania s publikom, obyvateľmi, umelcami a výskumníkmi o estetických, poetických a politických otázkach, ktoré sa týkajú témy a zmyslu projektu ako hnacej sily experimentálnej sociality.

📌 Altofest je umelecký projekt „human-specific“ experimentálnej sociality, ktorý vznikol v Neapole v roku 2011 a prostredníctvom špeciálnych edícií sa rozšíril do zahraničia. Jeho cieľom je vytvárať kolektívnu poetickú dimenziu: obyvatelia, umelci, výskumníci a odborníci z oblasti kultúry sa stretávajú pri každom prejave „Vznášajúceho sa mesta“ (Hovering City) Altofestu – priestoru, ktorý vzniká spojením intímnej dimenzie domovov a rodín s poetickou dimenziou diel a umeleckých procesov, ktoré obyvatelia prijímajú do svojich priestorov. Altofest pripravuje Teatringestazione podľa princípov svojej poetiky a tvorivej metodológie, vedené potrebou oslobodiť performatívny akt od kontextu spektáklu a nikdy nestratiť kontakt s teoretickou reflexiou, ktorá je neoddeliteľná od akejkoľvek umeleckej praxe.

Altofest is a pioneering "human-specific" project that has been reimagining the relationship between performing art and everyday life. Founded in Naples in 2011, Altofest is a festival held in people's homes. This award-winning project transforms everyday spaces into places of encounter, connecting art and everyday life through the principles of gift and hospitality.
In this Special Edition for the European Capital of Culture, citizens of Trenčín host international artists in their homes for two weeks, from the 5th to the 18th of October, turning domestic spaces into places of creation and dialogue. The houses then open to the audience, from the 14th to the 18th of October, who move from home to home, discovering art in the most unexpected and familiar corners of their own city.
"For One Another" is the theme that shapes the dramaturgy of this edition and connects all the performances. It speaks of the need to stay together as a community, because each one's destiny is bound to the others'.

Altofest also includes public talks and moments of sharing with the audience, citizens, artists and scholars, on the aesthetic, poetic and political questions about the topic and the meaning of the project as a driver of experimental sociality.

📌 Altofest is an artistic project of "human-specific" experimental sociality, born in Naples in 2011 and spread internationally through special editions. Its aim is to give rise to a collective poetic dimension: citizens, artists, scholars and cultural experts meet in every manifestation of Altofest's "Hovering City", a space that emerges from the union of the intimate dimension of the homes and families involved with the poetic dimension of the works and the artistic processes that citizens welcome into their spaces. Altofest is curated by Teatringestazione, according to the principles of its poetics and creative methodology, driven by the need to free the performative act from the spectacular context, never losing contact with theoretical reflection, which is inseparable from any artistic practice.
