About this Event
What is this event about?
Losing your beloved pet can be one of the most life altering experiences for a pet-parent. Loving pet parents experience emotional, physical, mental, social, and spiritual implications of Grief.
This space is intentionally created to recognize the loss of a pet as a real one. Shalini Israni, a Pet Loss Grief Coach together with Pooch's Parlor, brings you a unique experience in honoring your lost pet. You can expect to learn real coping techniques and come together with fellow loving pet parents in a meaningful way.
What can I expect during this hour?
Honoring your lost pet among a community that truly understands, facilitated by a coach who works specifically with grieving pet parents, at an iconic grooming venue in Greenpoint Brooklyn. You can expect to learn some real-life coping techniques to work through the pain, the guilt, the isolation, and other impacts of losing a beloved pet. This is a safe space where emotions are cherished, because your bond with your pet-baby is real.
Bring something to write on and something to write with. Even a single page is fine. We won't be spending the whole time journaling, just a few minutes.
