Join us for the Private View of Alison Whateley's exhibition at Sienna Gallery - an evening to meet the artist, be among the first to see her extraordinary work and enjoy wine, prosecco and nibbles on us.
Alison is a contemporary textile and mixed media artist whose work is inspired by the ever-changing landscapes and seascapes of Devon. She works intuitively, layering and stitching new and reclaimed fabrics, lace and mixed media to build landscapes of extraordinary texture, depth and beauty.
Her credentials speak for themselves. Alison is an Academician of the South West Academy of Fine & Applied Arts, a member of the Devon Artist Network and the Society for Embroidered Work, and appeared as a participant on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in 2024. Her work has been selected for the ING Discerning Eye and the Royal Society of Marine Artists at the Mall Galleries in London.
This is a rare opportunity to meet Alison in person, hear about her practice and see her latest collection up close before the exhibition opens to the general public.
All works are available to purchase on the evening.

The exhibition continues at Sienna Gallery until Sunday 18th October, open during gallery hours. Free entry throughout the week.
