www.trybooking.com/DQXADOctober '26 saw the release of 'Pure Joy', Liam Snowy Halliwell’s “29th or 30th album”. To celebrate, Snowy is bringing his music and a coterie of collaborators to his local watering hole and spiritual home: The Merri Creek Tavern.
Each week sees Snowy backed by a different group, a different sound. They'll all be playing songs from 'Pure Joy' as well as choice cuts from each group's back catalogue.
09 Nov - Snowy Band
The primary vehicle of Snowy’s songwriting this decade, Snowy Band will play hits from their four LPs and probably even preview some new material. A fifth record incoming??

16 Nov - Pop Filter
Born form the ashes of Melbourne jangle mainstay The Ocean Party and calcified by years of friendship - the boys from Wagga Wagga are back in town recording a new record on the weekend preceding this show. It’s a rare event that they’re all in one place and even rarer that they get to play a show.

30 Nov - Liam Snowy Halliwell
A cheeky rebrand means that Pure Joy is a DEBUT album and with it there’s a clear shift in sound and intent. This intimate show comes immediately off the back of a heap of touring throughout November; headline launches for the album as well a national tour supporting Aldous Harding

07 Dec - Snowy Jangle Band
The band is, as yet, un-named. We’re working on it. This band has played one show previously to a rowdy Beechworth audience. Rumours are it was Snowy’s greatest live band and show yet… They’ll be playing material from all corners of the back catalogue and beyond!!!
