About this Event

Note: This workshop is part of CSED's 3-part Practitioner Series—interactive, small-group masterclasses built for social entrepreneurs ready to master core operations, scale their revenue, and expand their impact.

Workshop Overview

This practical, interactive workshop explores how AI can help social enterprises and social purpose organizations strengthen their sales, marketing, and revenue-generation activities. Through live demonstrations and real-world examples, participants will see how AI can help identify prospects, develop outreach strategies, prepare proposals, improve follow-up, and build more effective business-development routines.

A highlight of the session will be a live working exercise built around a real business challenge brought forward by a participating organization. Together, we will use AI to explore the challenge, establish relevant organizational context, and begin developing an AI-enabled solution or workflow tailored to that organization's needs.

Why You Should Attend

Designed primarily for beginners and those with some experience using AI tools, this workshop will demonstrate how to move beyond simple questions and one-off prompts toward practical use cases that you can begin applying immediately. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to work effectively with AI, provide meaningful context, ask better questions, and begin applying AI to real sales, marketing, and revenue-generation challenges in their own organizations.

About the Workshop Leader

Tim Ragan is a business engineer, advisor, and founder of C-View Strategies, where he helps owner-led and senior-led organizations improve execution, decision-making, and business performance. For almost 40 years, Tim has worked with leadership teams across technology, professional services, manufacturing, and growth-stage business environments, helping them clarify priorities, strengthen accountability, and turn strategy into practical operating discipline.

Tim has been extensively integrating AI into his own business activities, including sales prospecting, business development, research, writing, process design, and decision support. Rather than treating AI as a novelty or generic writing tool, Tim focuses on connecting AI to real business processes. His interest is practical: helping small teams and resource-constrained organizations use AI to reduce friction, improve follow-through, and make better use of their time and resources.
