About this Event
The AI for Materials R&D Summit is a half-day NEO-SMART event for people who develop materials in polymers, chemicals & coatings, and metals. The focus is AI for materials discovery and design, not plant operations.
The morning moves from an overview of the field to stories from companies already using AI in their R&D, then to how to get started from the data you already have, including without a data science team, practical tools and techniques, and a look at where the field is heading. Attendees also help shape what a regional community of practice should offer.
The program is built for industry engineers and scientists, at companies with an established AI strategy and those just beginning. Economic development, higher education, government and philanthropy are welcome. Continental breakfast and a boxed lunch are included.
