How might AI agents change the way we manage supply chains, and could they help make them more resilient?
About this Event

As AI moves beyond providing information and recommendations towards autonomous agents capable of making and acting on decisions, new opportunities and questions are emerging for supply chain management.

What could this mean in practice? Where are the real opportunities, what risks and challenges need to be considered, and how close are we to meaningful adoption?

Join the University of Auckland Centre for Supply Chain Management (CSCM) and Centre of Digital Enterprise (CODE) for a panel discussion bringing together academic and industry perspectives to explore these questions and the implications of agentic AI for the future of supply chains.

Panellists:

  • Ankit Gupta, Group Chief Data and AI Officer, The Warehouse Group;
  • Samantha Smalley, Chapter Lead, Supply Chain Risk, Delivery and Performance, Air New Zealand;
  • Ilan Oshri, Professor of Information Systems and Director of the Centre of Digital Enterprise (CODE), University of Auckland Business School;
  • David Robb, Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management, University of Auckland Business School.

Moderator:

  • Subhamoy Ganguly, Senior Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management, University of Auckland Business School.
